Our mission is to promote career planning and development across the lifespan, resulting in personal satisfaction and success for students, clients, and constituents across Michigan.
MichCDA believes career development is an essential component of a strong education and workforce ecosystem. Individuals should have opportunities to explore their interests and strengths, understand educational and career options, navigate transitions, develop career management skills, and adapt to an evolving world of work.
We advocate for policies that strengthen access to career development, support the professionals who provide these services, connect education and workforce systems, and help Michigan residents successfully navigate their career journeys.
MichCDA is committed to serving as a knowledgeable and constructive voice for career development in Michigan.
